چکیده
Abstract Traditionally, lexical typology has to a large extent been interested in categorization of various cognitive domains (e. g., colour , perception body) i. e., how these are cut up by the most important words language, and motivation or formal relatedness, whether for certain concepts completely unrelated related others via polysemy derivation intransitive vs. transitive verbs, ‘day’ ‘sun’, etc.). Grammatical behavior morphosyntactic patterns as encoding meanings traditionally belong grammatical typology. In this paper, I consider domain temperature show close interaction between lexicon grammar across languages calls an integrated lexico-grammatical approach phenomena. As useful tool such enterprise suggest elaborated semantic map comprising three layers – layer specifying with information on their mutual relations (i. they identical, inflection), properties part-of-speech affiliation, inflectional potential, etc.), constructions occur in.

Semantic innovations in lexicon: cognitive pragmatic interface
The paper focuses on the interrelation of language use with linguistic structure and underlying conceptual structure. We proceed from the assumption that new meaning development involves both cognitive and pragmatic issues. We explore the cognitive basis of semantic innovations and the way the individual sense alterations that arise from deviations in the words use are developing into a new mea...
متن کاملMeasuring Semantic Relatedness Across Languages
Measures of Semantic Relatedness are well established in Natural Language Processing. Their purpose is to determine the degree of relatedness between two words without specifying the nature of their relationship. Most of these measures work only between pairs of words in a single language. We propose a novel method of measuring semantic relatedness between pairs of words in two different langua...

متن کاملIdentifying bilingual semantic neural representations across languages.
The goal of the study was to identify the neural representation of a noun's meaning in one language based on the neural representation of that same noun in another language. Machine learning methods were used to train classifiers to identify which individual noun bilingual participants were thinking about in one language based solely on their brain activation in the other language. The study sh...
